Population
Adults diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
Intervention
Ebenatide treatment for 24 weeks.
Comparison
Standard care or placebo.
Outcome
Ebenatide significantly reduced HbA1c, improved time-in-range (TIR) and triglyceride-glucose index (TyG), and decreased body weight and waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) after 24 weeks. These benefits were sustained for at least 52 weeks, with mild gastrointestinal side effects reported.
